What happens when a 20-year career that was "the wrong path" turns out to be the perfect prelude to your true purpose? In this clarifying and inspiring episode of "It Begins Here," host Jillian Johnson addresses her recent announcement about letting her CPA license lapse—and explains why it's not an ending, but a beautiful beginning.

Jillian clarifies that Simply J is not going anywhere. The knowledge, experience, and unconventional methods she's built over two decades are now being channeled into something even more aligned. She shares how she was wearing a mask as a CPA, but that mask served a purpose: it gave her the foundation to create something unconventional and authentic. She emphasizes the importance of accountability—both for herself and for her clients—and why she refuses to train others in her methods until they can hold themselves accountable.

This episode is a celebration of creativity, art, and the power to create the world you desire. Jillian reminds us that no one can take away your creativity, and that the best response to frustration is redirection. If you've ever felt like you were on the wrong path, only to realize it was leading you exactly where you needed to go, this episode will resonate deeply. Your journey to embracing your true path begins here.

Where love creates movement, and movement creates change.

They can't take away art. They can't take away the creativity. They can't do it. You know what I mean? Just know. And oh. One sentence. And there's far more of us. No violence. Just redirection. We all know this. Many are doing it already. It's okay. It's just time for us to see the light ourselves. And really, when you really understand it, you create everything. So when you want to get frustrated with what you're seeing, redirect your mind, create the world you desire. I just gave you two steps ahead. You're welcome. Well, Dia, and welcome to It Begins Here. It Begins Here is a podcast about my journey and path to enlightenment, healing, awareness, realizations, and all the fun little stories in between. So I welcome you to It Begins Here, a podcast. Bota Jay, and welcome to It Begins Here, a podcast. Thanks for joining us. This uh week I want to um make some clarifications. Um, I know I had mentioned that I was letting my CPA, my my certified public accountant, um license lapse and disassociating with organizations that support that. Um and it it means no harm. I just think it's not the path for me, and I've been wearing that mask for quite a long time. But there was purpose with wearing the mask, right? I mean, doesn't mean that Simply Jay ceases. Absolutely not. That's on to quite amazing things, so stay tuned there. And also, this knowledge, you know, carries a lot of weight of understanding how to run a business, understanding numbers, understanding analysis, understanding strategy, right? It's it's a real blessing, and I would never not utilize. I'm a creator, so I'm not stopping, and I'll be sitting on boards and I'll be supporting other amazing organizations. Um, I'm sure NDAs will appear. I'm gonna send one out myself. So, you know, you uh just because uh you go along on a journey, and quite frankly, it's been 20 years of what seemed like the wrong path, but it was just the prelude, right? Just completely the prelude to what's coming. And I'm so blessed to be able to share this journey. You know, again, I'm I'm being vulnerable and I'm also learning as well. I'm sure you can uh relate to that. And I I did this, I'm doing this for that reason, so you can see the story. You can see the you can hear the story, you can imagine the story. Um yeah, so you know, blessings out to our team at Simply J, and I'm so excited for what's coming. Um but it also leads to why, right? What led me down that path, and I know I've I was starting to talk about this, with just literally comfort and security, right? I went into a career that I knew I could accelerate with, but in completely unconditional methods, right? I learned the conditional method, it didn't work for me, I did not fit in. That wasn't what I was supposed to do. I was there to break the norm, and hence why we created Simply J, which is nothing but unconventional. And I incorporate my tools that I use on my healing journey and discovery of myself, I incorporate those into the business realm as well to understand how the team is feeling, right? And and not to interrupt into their personal life, but just it's a check-in. You know, where are they? How does the team feel overall? How does each individual team member feel? And it does make for self-discovery of things that are non-work, but that's up to them to discuss. That's not me. But I I think it's immensely important if they're comfortable, if they're not, we don't, period. But if they're comfortable, I can make a statement and it'll make them think. People have to be held accountable for their own learning. They definitely do. And everyone has to be held accountable. I did a video recently on Facebook, uh, Instagram for that purpose. Accountability is everything, and and honestly, we we can't have clients that aren't accountable. Period. It's like, what are we doing here? We're not doing anything. It doesn't make any sense, right? So it's a tough thing, it's a tough conversation. Um and clients leave us either they want to bring it internally, which you know, kudos to that. But that's a big risk. That is a huge risk. And you know, we can help when a client does that. We've helped clients to integrate someone new. We've helped a couple of well-known clients do that, and I'm certain they give us props for it. If they don't, let's start, please. Um and we've done that because and we're then the backup plan. You need us, call us. They want to take a vacation, call us. It's a quick back integration. We have all the data, you know, we put things on pause, whatever, whatever we gotta do. We navigate it. So we're very versatile, but yeah, we definitely are very unconventional. Very, very, very. And I again I haven't we started, I have a couple of YouTube videos like to start training others, but it doesn't align with me because they have to hold themselves accountable, and I can't control that, nor do I want to. No one should be controlling someone's accountability. That's why I was so challenged when I hired a a fitness coach, you know, and I'm like, I know my behaviors, and this has to be integrated at my speed, and I know my price. I'm like an asshole, but it's just how I operate. And am I holding myself accountable? Yep, but I'm done banging through the walls too, right? So, you know, yoga is huge for me. Just simple flows, nothing too intense, some Pilates. Um, but I'm also training for the Pan Mass Challenge, so I'm writing. I'm writing, and I'm not overdoing it. I did overdo it last time, but you have to hold yourself accountable, is my point. And eventually you have to, or you're gonna get nowhere. You're not gonna get anywhere. Accountability is everything, but yeah, going back to the unconditional methods, I'm very creative. Um, and uh you have to put that to use too. And creativity comes with certain methodologies, right? You gotta figure out how to tap into your creativity and you gotta give yourself time, and that's been a big lesson for me. Because being the the human I am, especially what we would call my wood element in 5a, right? I want to go, go, go, go, but you need to rest, rest, rest, rest. And some would say masculine energy can handle much more go go than feminine energy. Um, I obviously have trained myself to balance, and temperance is very apparent for me now. Um Carl Horn for confirmation. Um learning to balance myself. I'm taking today off. Yeah, I'm answering emails, but I gotta take a rest because I had a I had a two and three-day migraine that I fought off. And thank you so much to my healing friends for sending me energy because I'm certain that helped. I am certain that helped. Um much appreciated. And I'll come right back to you, so thank you. Um, it's important to allow yourself to tap into that creativity naturally, and because it brings forth some fun stuff into everything else, right? It integrates into everything else. Again, blessed is a Gemini moon, that comes very natural to me. Um it's important for us to do so because it's everything, and there's a lot of things shutting out our creativity, and we cannot allow it. We do not allow it, we will not allow it, and change is coming. Um, and I say that because I'm number one, manifesting it, number two, creating my own reality, and number three, contributing to humanity and the earth to send it back out. Um so yes, you're welcome. Um that's very important. Earth angel energy here, you know. Um unconditional methods can be integrated throughout your entire life, day, minute. Um take the path less traveled. Take some time out for the day and just put out to the universe what you desire and see if it delivers. Guaranteed it will. Especially if you tap start tapping into just loving life, just being grateful, you'll see it, it'll happen for you, and that's important. And you know, I'm already honestly five steps ahead of what I'm talking about. Um, because I'm bringing it through as a journey. That's what I'm here to do. Um Scorpio, I'm always strategically ahead. I love that about me. Um, and I finally love me, right? I just literally am recovering from realizing my entire life I shed light into the dark because I was limited, because I was abused mentally, period. And it led into me abusing myself mentally, period. Right? But we come out of the dark, and I've been the beacon for everyone else this entire time, this entire time giving out and not taking in, and now I'm learning to balance that. Big breath. That was a big realization right there, confrontation. Um it's important, it's important, and I'm so blessed because I have such great karma coming back at me. Like, literally, watch what happens next, right? Um just watch. Uh I um I have had uh someone ask if they could just tape me and what I do all day, and I thought that was pretty hysterical and awesome at the same time, and it might probably come to fruition, because why not, right? Be that vulnerable so you can see what I do. And you're welcome to mirror it for your own good. You can't take my energy, by the way, and you can't create or compete with what I create because that's that's the opposite of abundance, and that is who I am. The infinity symbol, I've been hanging out with that symbol three quarters of my life. That and yin, the yin yin ying, the yin yang, the yin and the yang. I don't know why I couldn't say that. Um I've I've surrounded myself with symbols for quite some time. Um, the ohm sign is the simply che sign. That we've had that for a long time. A long time. I you know, we've been in wellness before it was a thing. Let's just go there, right? I've we've been supporting my our first client, it was a yoga studio. Courtesy of a a past friend introduction, and it led from there. It just blew up, went into cannabis, coming back out. Now we're about 55, 45, 55 cannabis, 45, non. Just go with the flow, you pivot, you flow ebb. We're about to go into a new niche, so stay tuned. That's gonna be exciting. Um why not? Right? Why not? And um I have Peely's rocking slow and steady. And uh yeah, it's just such a blessing to be able to do that. And I know a lot of you listening are doing similar things or being inspired to do similar things because that's what it's all about. It's not just me talking about myself. I'm it's actually not me at all. I'm very humble. I don't may not sound it, but I am. It's it I'm doing it to help others. Again, not gonna give you all my secrets though. There's some that I keep. I have lots of secrets. People have told me a lot of secrets. I'm never gonna say them or repeat them. That's not me. Um half of them I probably remember. I don't care. Oh, I probably could. I could just deep down and find it, but I won't. No need. Not mine to discuss. Sometimes you gotta share, right? And uh I'm certain I've done that with others. So it seems like there's a pattern of uh, you know, holding yourself accountable, prom make keeping to your promises. That's that's ethical, that's authentic. That's the right thing. That's what this earth is becoming, doing the right thing. The negativities, it's a poll it's a balance, right? Polarity, of course, but my world there's both, but you can get through the the latter easier. Things become easier, you can get through the those times easier, and right now I'm I'm ready to receive and feel love, unconditional love, and create and build and use my creativity and sing and dance and play and travel and love. And again, fire elements, so I really want to make sure there's love and joy, and with very select friends and few, I'll go and we'll act crazy and manic, but whatever. I know that seems scary to some of you. Oh, um, but then you know, there is holding yourself accountable for your own healing and going through it and understanding it. And now coming out of the darkness from not being, not having unconditional love. And that's really sad to say. I experienced it, yes, but fleeting with my grandfather who passed away when I was five. Uh it led with my grandmother, but she had she had other people to look after. Unfortunately, she was very, there was a lot going on. And um my mom just wasn't loved herself and didn't know truly how to show love. I don't hate her for it. And I hope she heals. Same with my sister. My brother too. He, you know, needs self-love. Don't we all? Don't we all? And counseling wasn't what saved me or helped me. I never went to counseling. We tried putting Abby in it, but I'm gonna figure it out myself. I have the tools, the knowledge, the guidance. I'm surrounded by a bunch of beautiful people and healers. So that's amazing life that you can build for yourself, and everyone deserves this. Everyone. And how you do it, you start with going in. Start with doing one thing for yourself, whether it's breathing exercises, meditation, yoga, walking, running. God, even just growing plants, playing in the dirt, walking on sand, walking in the water, listening to music, dancing. They can't take away art, they can't take away the creativity, they can't do it. You know what I mean. Just know. And oh, one sentence. And there's far more of us. No violence, just redirection. We all know this. Many are doing it already. It's okay. It's just time for us to see the light ourselves. And really, when you really understand it, you create everything. So when you want to get frustrated with what you're seeing, redirect your mind, create the world you desire. I just gave you two steps ahead. You're welcome. It's all in the mind. And literally, my entire journey has been in my mind as well, right? I mean, I have to take accountability for that. Realizing that I've limited myself as well. And I slowly came out of it. I'm just getting out of a 20-year. Yep. 20 years of that of healing, really. It's all good. And certain people had to obviously leave me, and that's perfectly fine. I mean, I'm divorced, but I'm amicable with my daughter's dad. It doesn't have to be all fucking drama, excuse my French. It doesn't have to be all chaos and bah. It's the quietness, it's the calm, it's the peace. That's why I love meditating, going within. Peace. Listening to the waves, listening to running water. Talk to your water, tell it how much you love and thank it. Gratitude. I don't know. I'm starting to sound like a broken record, but this is all valid stuff. And I just am here to remind you and give you examples of what that looks like. And that's where I leave you. Love and light. It begins here. Thanks for listening. Love and light to all you beautiful humans.
